All of this is true, by the way. But if we’re going to work together, and I have any hope of keeping you interested long enough to read the rest of this, you deserve to know a little more about the person behind the degree, the local State Farm office, and the amazing insurance products we offer.

My name is Jennifer Webb. Depending on the day and who you’re talking to, I also go by Jenny, Nenny, Mama, Mijo, or JWebb. My customers call me friend. Quite honestly, that’s how I really want you to think of me. I love making new friends and finding connection—however big or small. I get that from my mother, an elementary school nurse of 30 years who was the perfect combination of Carol Brady and Donna Reed. I try to be like her every day. Yes, I help busy individuals with insurance, and yes, I hope you never have to use it. But if you’re going to have a really bad day (water leak, fire, accident, etc.), or you’re finally ready to make sense of all the gobbledygook, I hope we have met. Because when life gets messy, having someone you can call can make all the difference.

Before I got into insurance, I spent 10 years working in luxury retail at Saks Fifth Avenue. With a degree in marketing, I figured my eventual move to State Farm in 2011 would involve working behind the scenes to help grow the brand. But I quickly realized what I enjoyed most was helping people. As an agent, I’ve had plenty of opportunities to do just that, and my team and I work hard to bring that luxury retail experience into insurance. For us, that means more than stellar service and matching you with the right policies. We still handwrite thank-you notes to every new customer, and we send birthday cards to each of our customers. We are also real people who live, work, shop, and grab lunch right here in your community. We talk insurance all day long amongst each other, and those conversations can get pretty technical. But when you call us with a question or to ask for a quote, there is no confusing jargon. You’ll never have to feel like you should already know the answer.

When I’m not at the office, you’ll probably see me out and about on a soccer or baseball field somewhere. I’m married to my college sweetheart, Dusty, and together we are raising two young men, Dylan and JP. Dusty is a manufacturing engineer, so he’s the family’s technical genius. Meanwhile, I love to run, read, and spend time with my two boys.

I’ve lived in North Texas for over 40 years. Being part of this community means a lot to me. Over the years, I've stayed involved through organizations such as the Junior League of Collin County, the Hebron Valley STEM Academy PTA, the Creek Valley Middle School PTA, the LISD Council of PTAs, and the Lewisville Education Foundation Board of Directors. My team and I are also proud members of the Chamber of Commerce in Lewisville, Plano, Richardson, and Garland.

A few additional fun facts about me: I love the beach. I speak Spanish. I love Chocolate Labs. I have never played a sport with a ball. I love cheering for my kids while they play sports, but I never really know the score. I mentioned that I love to run, but don’t ask me my race time. As much of an open book as I am, that’s one thing you won’t read about in this About Me section.
